All of the Crude plus Condensate (C + C) production data, oil, for the US state charts comes from the EIAʼs Petroleum Supply monthly PSM which provides updated information up to November 2024.
U.S. November oil production decreased by 122 kb/d to 13,314 kb/d, only 6 kb/d higher than December 2024. The largest decreases came from Texas, 70 kb/d, New Mexico 38 kb/d and the GOM 108 kb/d.

U.S. August oil production increased by 195 kb/d to 13,401 kb/d to another record high. The previous record was 13,308 kb/d in December 2023. The largest increases came from Texas, 99 kb/d and New Mexico, 57 kb/d.

U.S. May oil production dropped by 61 kb/d to 13,178 kb/d. The largest increase came from Texas, 35 kb/d while North Dakota dropped by 43 kb/d.

U.S. March oil production rose by 77 kb/d to 13,182 kb/d. The largest increases came from Texas, 36 kb/d and New Mexico, 32 kb/d. However relative to the EIA’s February production report, which was revised down from 13,154 kb/d to 13,105 kb/d, March production is up by 18 kb/d.
US production has been flat since September 2023.

U.S. February oil production rebounded by 578 kb/d to 13,154 kb/d. The large increase was due to a rebound from the severe January winter storm that spread across most central states. The largest increases came from Texas, 172 kb/d and North Dakota 173 kb/d.
The dark blue graph, taken from the April 2023 STEO, is the forecast for U.S. oil production from March 2024 to December 2025. Output for December 2025 is expected to reach 13,904 kb/d and is an increase of 82 kb/d from the previous STEO report.
