June Non-OPEC & World Oil Production

The focus of this post is an overview of World oil production along with a more detailed review of the top 11 Non-OPEC oil producing countries. OPEC production is covered in a separate post.

Below are a number of Crude plus Condensate (C + C) production charts, usually shortened to “oil”, for oil producing countries. The charts are created from data provided by the EIA’s International Energy Statistics and are updated to June 2024. This is the latest and most detailed/complete World Oil production information available. Information from other sources such as OPEC, the STEO and country specific sites such as Brazil, Norway and China is used to provide a short term outlook. 

World oil production decreased by 299 kb/d in June to 81,105 kb/d, green graph. The largest decreases came from Saudi Arabai 350 kb/d and Russia 142 kb/d. July’s World oil production is projected to increase by 665 kb/d to 81,770 kb/d.

World oil production decreased by 687 kb/d in May to 81,036 kb/d, green graph. The largest decreases came from Canada 259 kb/d, Saudi Arabai 200 kb/d and Norway 138 kb/d. June’s World oil production is projected to drop by 249 kb/d to 80,787 kb/d.

March Non-OPEC and World Oil Production Rose

Below are a number of Crude plus Condensate (C + C) production charts, usually shortened to “oil”, for oil producing countries. Information from other sources such as OPEC, the STEO and country specific sites such as Brazil, Norway and China is used to provide a short term outlook. 

World oil production increased by 440 kb/d in March to 82,585 kb/d, green graph. The largest increase came from Saudi Arabia 100 kb/d while Brazil had the biggest drop, 92 kb/d. April’s World oil production is projected to drop by 762 kb/d to 81,823 kb/d largely due to a drop in Non-OPEC production.

December World Oil Production at Post-Pandemic High

Below are a number of Crude plus Condensate (C + C) production charts, usually shortened to “oil”, for oil producing countries. The charts are created from data provided by the EIA’s International Energy Statistics and are updated to December 2023. This is the latest and most detailed/complete World Oil production information available. Information from other sources such as OPEC, the STEO and country specific sites such as Brazil, Norway and China is used to provide a short term outlook. 

World oil production increased by 400 kb/d in December, green graph, to a post pandemic high. The largest increase came from Guyana, 175 kb/d. January World oil production is projected to drop by 1,744 kb/d to 81,178 kb/d. The large production drop is due to the STEO’s January estimated drop of 2,160 kb/d for all liquids. Of the 2,160, US accounts for 1,500 kb/d while Canada drops 130 kb/d and Brazil drops 280 kb/d.

October World Oil Production Continues to Rebound

This is the latest and most detailed/complete World Oil production information available. Information from other sources such as OPEC, the STEO and country specific sites such as Brazil, Norway and China is used to provide a short term outlook 

World Oil Production and Projection

World oil production increased by 302 kb/d in October, green graph. The largest increase came from Canada and Kazakhstan with both adding 123 kb/d each.
