The EIA STEO was published recently, the estimate below is based on data from that report and statistics from the EIA International Energy Statistics. The EIA expects the 2018 peak for annual average World C+C output will be surpassed in 2025. The monthly peak in November 2018 is also expected to be surpassed in November 2025.

All of the Crude plus Condensate (C + C) production data, oil, for the US state charts comes from the EIAʼs Petroleum Supply monthly PSM which provides updated information up to June 2024.
U.S. June oil production rose by 25 kb/d to 13,214 kb/d. The largest increase came from Texas, 58 kb/d while 7 states had production drops totalling 51 kb/d.

U.S. May oil production dropped by 61 kb/d to 13,178 kb/d. The largest increase came from Texas, 35 kb/d while North Dakota dropped by 43 kb/d.

The OPEC Monthly Oil Market Report (MOMR) for July 2024 was published recently. The last month reported in most of the OPEC charts that follow is June 2024 and output reported for OPEC nations is crude oil output in thousands of barrels per day (kb/d). In the OPEC charts below the blue line with markers is monthly output and the thin red line is the centered twelve month average (CTMA) output.
